Female employees are granted 14 weeks of paid paternity leave, with which eight weeks have to be taken before childbirth and six weeks after. Additionally, fathers are entitled to three days of paid paternity leave.
Upon termination, employees are entitled to severance pay which cannot exceed two months' salary if the company has less than 11 workers, and four months' salary if the company has 11 to 49 workers. And six months' salary if the company has more than 49 workers.
The minimum notice period in Djibouti is one month for regular positions and three months for executive positions.
