0% - for XAF 0-378,000
8% for XAF 378,001- 1,680,000
15% for XAF 1,680,001-3,360,000

The Central African Republic has a standard corporate rate of 30%. Both residents and non-residents companies in the agricultural sector have a reduced rate of 20%.
The income tax is paid through the Pay As You Earn (PAYE) system computed using the personal income tax rates.
Every female worker is entitled to 98 days (14 weeks) of fully paid maternity leave with six weeks before birth and eight weeks after birth. A three weeks extension can be offered in case of birth complications.
An employment contract can be terminated when the contract period ends if fixed for a certain period by the employer or the employee. In the case of gross misconduct, an employment contract can be terminated without notice.
