We’ll discuss “how it works” a bit more at the coming Town Hall.

Embedded financial services allow us to seamlessly integrate benefits administration and payment solutions into our platform, making them accessible and efficient for businesses and their employees. This isn’t just about payroll; it’s about creating a better experience for everyone who uses Workpay.

For businesses, we’ve made salary disbursements, statutory payments, and expense reimbursements simple and reliable. By digitising these processes, we reduce errors and save time for them to focus on what truly matters: growing their businesses.

For employees, we’re providing financial flexibility and freedom. They can withdraw their salaries in real time, send money to family and friends, and manage their finances through our platform—whether it’s to mobile money, wallets, or bank accounts. This is more than convenience; it’s about empowering individuals to take control of their financial well-being.

To build on this success, I’m proud to announce that we’re launching two new business lines: Benefits and Payments. These will be standalone teams within the Growth Department, each led by a senior manager who will focus entirely on innovating and scaling these offerings. This move is more than just a strategic step for Workpay; it’s a commitment to your growth and maximising the power of embedded finance on our core product: payroll.

These new business lines mean more opportunities for leadership, collaboration, and creativity within our team. They also demonstrate our dedication to becoming the best at what we do—not just in Africa but globally.
